Education Commission

Calls on all parishioners to embrace and promote the value of and need for initial and ongoing faith formation within our parish community, kindergarten through adult, through its educational offerings, sacramental formation, service and family outreach.

Bible Study - The group meets regularly to study and reflect on Scripture. The aim is to foster spiritual growth through prayer, discussion and faith-sharing. The group meets on Tuesday nights 7:00 to 9:00 PM at various times throughout the year in the parish office. Anyone over 18 years of age is welcome to join. Brenda DeLaurentis

Infant Baptism Preparation - This program helps prepare parents spiritually for the Baptism of their children. Parishioners work with these new parents in this endeavor. Jeanie Hernandez and Jeanette Funchion

Marriage Preparation Program - "The two shall become one. They are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, let no man separate what God has joined." (Mark 10:7-9) In an effort to assure that Catholic Christian marriages are built on the best commitment possible, a comprehensive process is offered to help engaged couples prepare for marriage. Sharon and Mark Nadalin

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) - The is a process for welcoming newcomers or inquiries into the Roman Catholic Church. It is a personal journey that leads to the transformation of mind and spirit to the truth of the Catholic Faith. Team members are needed to sponsor and facilitate the program. Georgene Walters

RCIY (Rite of Christian Initiation of Youth) - This ministry is offered for those children who have not been fully initiated in the Catholic Church and who wish to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. Cindy Hope

Saint Ann Parish School - Educating students Kindergarten through Eighth Grade is one of our parish ministries with a staff that is dedicated to the education of our Parish children. Volunteers are needed to offer their time and talents in various ways. Ms. Donna Lamoureux, Principal

TRIP (Tuition Reimbursement Incentive Program) - This program offers our parishioners the opportunity to buy certificates to many local retail stores. These stores offer discounts that are applied directly to the student’s tuition in the parish school. Volunteers are needed on Mondays to help process the orders as well as on Wednesdays to fill the orders. Denise Johnson and Judy Rogala

Parish School Market Day - A monthly fundraising program for the parish school which offers parishioners the opportunity to purchase tasty treats, with a portion of the proceeds going for parish school needs. Monica Scheppe and Cindy Rusiniak

PTO (Parents Teacher Organization) - This organization provides communications between teachers and parents whose responsibility is to attend the meetings and support the PTO activities. Deborah Dixon

Religious Education - This ministry helps to educate students in values of Faith and instructs in the stewardship way of life in the Catholic Church. Cindy Hope

Religious Education Board - This ministry advises the pastor and the Director of Religious Education and religious education catechists and parents. Cindy Hope
